Chelsey is from St.John’s, Newfoundland, but moved to Calgary in 2012 to further her education. She discovered her passion for physiotherapy when she sustained overuse running injuries and sought treatment.

Chelsey completed her Masters of Physiotherapy at University College Dublin. Prior to this, she completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Since graduating from her masters, she has continued to progress her knowledge through courses such as Mckenzie Part A course, Dry Needling course, and The Shoulder Complex course. Chelsey has a drive for growth, and continually updates her knowledge through researching the latest treatment principles and techniques.

Outside of work you can find Chelsey dabbling in different areas of fitness, such as running, hiking, powerlifting, and weightlifting. She also enjoys photography, and her three dogs make for great subjects.

Chelsey places high value on exercise and education for empowering her clients to take control of their health and supplements this approach with her use of manual therapy and dry needling. She enjoys working with anyone that is looking to get back to the activities that they love doing, especially runners and weightlifters. Whether you’ve had an acute injury, or something just isn’t feeling quite right with your training, she can help you through an individualized approach.
