Pauline Nguyen

MScOT, Occupational Therapist

I am a registered occupational therapist with a passion in delivering neurorehabilitation and helping others to achieve their personal goals. I completed my Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy through University of Alberta in 2018. Prior to this, I completed my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Since graduating, I have worked with stroke and brain injury patients in the United Kingdom. I have continued to take courses to develop my knowledge in delivering neurorehabilitation including: Cognitive Rehabilitation Training and Visual Rehabilitation Training following Neurological Insult. I am a Certified Brain FX Assessor, and a Certified Complete Concussion Management (CCMI) Provider. I am currently working on becoming a Certified Neuro Specialist (CNS) as I am fascinated in the brain’s ability to adapt and undergo neuroplastic changes throughout the entire life span. I approach my treatments with a holistic lens by addressing cognitive, physical and mental health as it relates to the impact on daily life function. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients to problem solve strategies that will work in improving their quality of life.

Being raised in Calgary, I have always been fortunate to be close to the mountains. Due to this, I love winter sports such as snowboarding and skating. However, I also love to explore and live in different countries. Most recently, I have spent the past two years living in England, and have also spent a year living in Australia. My passion is travelling, as I love to experience different cultures and explore different foods around the world!
