I am born and raised in Calgary and completed my Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Currently I am studying to becoming an Osteopathic Manual Therapist. What got me interested in it? I grew up with an active lifestyle and with that, injuries are bound to happen. As a chronic pain patient myself, therapy has helped me manage my symptoms and allowed me to live my best life. Working at Fix Physio gave me the opportunity to work with patients and learn more about how the paramedical field can give patients the chance for the body to heal its self.
I'm a third year Kinesiology student at the University of Calgary. I enjoy volunteering and am currently involved in various initiatives on and off-campus like Zero Food Waste, a food rescue non-profit that I organize. Feel free to ask me about it! In my free time, I enjoy reading and playing basketball. I've also recently gotten into hiking.
I was born and raised in a small town outside of Regina, Saskatchewan, where I was involved in all sports the community had to offer. I was put in my first pair of skates at age 4 and gravitated towards a ring instead of a puck, and eventually competed at ringette championships all over the country. I am currently working towards my Bachelor of Science at the University of Calgary, with a focus on Biomechanics. I feel empowered when I help others and have hopes to earn my Master's in Physiotherapy in the near future. I love to learn and I am looking forward to developing relationships and discovering life as a physiotherapist!
Hey there! My name is Anna and I have a passion for mental health and understanding the human experience as it pertains to the various adversities we face throughout our lives! I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alberta and am currently working on my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. Most of my work experience relates to trauma and attachment, both of which are what I enjoy working on most. Aside from that, I love all-mountain skiing and have been hitting the slopes since age 7! I also love to read and write and am a major true-crime junkie!
