Kelsey Ling
MScPT
Kelsey is a born and raised Calgarian with a Bachelors in Kinesiology and Masters in Physical Therapy. She grew up dancing, but was lucky enough to never need physiotherapy for any injuries. Instead, she was introduced to physiotherapy through her sports medicine teacher in grade 10 (thanks, Ms. Flo!), and decided to volunteer at her local physiotherapy clinic to find out what it was all about. Whatever she saw stuck because she's been in the industry ever since. Kelsey has completed her Functional Dry Needling (FDN)/Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) for the Upper and Lower Body certification.
Kelsey started to develop an interest in women's health a couple years into her practice when speaking to patients about the challenges of new motherhood, and on a whim decided to take a pelvic health course. She began to really enjoy learning about pelvic health and how it affects not only moms, but people across all genres, ages and different stages of life. She treats individuals with (but not limited to): incontinence, prolapse, dyspareunia, vaginismus, diastasis recti, endometriosis, coccydynia and vulvodynia. She has also taken additional courses in labour and birth preparation.
When she's not treating patients she can be found doing one of her many (way too many) hobbies like bouldering, running, working out, reading or knitting.
