Hello! I just graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology. I will be continuing with my studies in the fall to get my education degree with the goal of one day becoming an elementary school teacher. Throughout my thirteen years of competitive dance, I spent a fair amount of time in physiotherapy clinics and found them to be a warm and welcoming place. When I am not at work you can find me hanging out with my dog, at a spin class, or reading a good book.

Hi :) My name is Val and I am one of the administrators here at Fix Physio. I’m currently heading into my fourth year of a Kinesiology degree at the University of Calgary.
Sports have always played a significant role in my life and have shaped who I am today. An injury during my senior year ended my track and field season and introduced me to a physiotherapist who, despite my frustration, took the time to explain the importance of prioritizing my body’s long-term health. This experience led me to move to Calgary to deepen my knowledge in both the theoretical and physiological aspects of sport.
