Postpartum
Acupuncture, rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), serves as a valuable support postpartum, aiding in physical recovery, emotional well-being, and overall health. It has been observed to regulate hormones, stabilizing mood, reducing postpartum depression, and promoting lactation. Improved circulation supports healing, alleviates pain and fatigue, and enhances tissue repair after childbirth. Postpartum treatment often focuses on replenishing energy (Qi), strengthening resilience, and addressing concerns such as insomnia, anxiety, and digestive disturbances. By promoting overall balance in the body, acupuncture helps new mothers recover more smoothly, leaving them feeling physically and emotionally revitalized.
Postpartum Acupuncture can help with:
-
Hormonal Balance: Supports hormone regulation, stabilizing mood and supporting postpartum depression.
-
Lactation Support: used to promote milk production and relieve issues like blocked ducts.
-
Pain Relief: Aids in recovery from perineal trauma, C-section healing, and general body aches.
-
Circulatory Support: Enhances blood flow, promoting faster healing and tissue repair.
-
Emotional Well-being: Reduces stress, anxiety, and improves sleep quality.
-
Digestive Health: Helps with common postpartum issues like bloating, constipation, and sluggish digestion.
-
Overall Recovery: Strengthens the body’s resilience, promoting a smoother transition into motherhood.
